Recipes: Gajar ka Halwa
A North Indian carrot dessert, Sneha's mom even cooked this for us when we visited her home in Patna. Sneha taught us how to cook it one night, so here's her recipe!
Gajar ka halwa
Boil one liter of milk with crushed cardamom seeds
Add 1/2 kg of grated carrots after milk is boiled
Add sugar to taste, about 2 or 3 spoons
When carrots have absorbed most of milk, add nuts and raisins, cook down until no milk is left but carrots are still moist.
